i spent a week out of my summer in the lower east not too long ago. i wonder what it's like to really live in manhattan. are most kids from the outskirts of the city that move in? or are most of them born and raised in manhattan or the close proximity? NYC still fascinates me, but only a week at a time. i feel it's too much for this chicago boy..
