Second Art Post in a Row
I went to a gallery opening last night with LT "I refuse to go above Houston" Beskar. I feel obligated to blog (oblogated?) about this because I was texting Nikki throughout with my semi-celeb sightings... As for the art, I was impressed. Much more enjoyable than the art crawl, but with less adventure and more free booze. All in all, I call it a Win.
You'll notice some painted portraits of people staring up; they're Fritz Chesnut's representations of what people look like while staring at art. There are three of these portraits, all staring at the mobile-like piece in the center. Clever.
Anyway, since I'm obviously not much of a writer, on to the pictures!
I've got plenty more pictures from my other adventures last night, but those will have to wait for another blog post... As always, more photos on my Flickr.

LES Art Crawl
Friday, I went on an "Art Crawl"... (think pub crawl but with galleries instead of pubs.) My new friend LT blogged about it (and the gentrification of the Lower East Side) for Working Class Magazine here. Check it out, at least for the pictures of our hijinks and my mention as "fellow photophile and paparazzo".
Long story short: We didn't know you had to buy tickets ahead of time, but with some snooping, we found out that the tickets were exchanged for plain white wristbands.... being the crafty girls we are, we made our own out of some scrap paper... Ha ha...

London Highlights (Places)
Yeah, I really have nothing to post.... plus, I'm getting all nostalgia-y.
Now let's all listen to this song and get super happy:
